PREPARE FOR YOUR PHOTOSHOOT

Thank you for selecting our photography services to showcase your property. To achieve the best possible presentation of your home, it is paramount that each room is prepared. Below, you will find a comprehensive room-by-room guide to assist you in ensuring your residence is primed for the upcoming photoshoot.

Entrance to Modern Home

  • Clean Thoroughly and Replace Bulbs: Dust all surfaces, vacuum carpets, wipe down baseboards, and mop floors. Clean all windows and mirrors. 

  • ​Declutter: Remove unnecessary items from all rooms. Less clutter will make your spaces look more spacious and appealing. If possible, remove seasonal decorations.

  • Safety Items: Remove or store any valuable items.

  • Extra: Turn off all TVs and Computers. Put away all the shoes, clothes, toys, and personal items.

GENERAL

LIVING ROOM

  • Cushions and Throws: Arrange cushions and throws neatly on sofas and chairs.

  • Furniture Arrangement: Arrange furniture in a visually pleasing way. Remove excess items and personal photos.

  • Electronic Devices: Hide or organize electronic cords and remote controls.

  • Clean and Shine: Clean all bathroom surfaces, including mirrors, sinks, and countertops. Remove all personal toiletries.

  • Fresh Towels: Hang clean, coordinating towels and shower curtains.

  • Toilet Seat: Close the toilet lid, and ensure the toilet area is clean.

  • ​Empty Trash: Empty bathroom trash bins.

BATHROOMS

KITCHEN

  • Clear Countertops: Remove small kitchen appliances, cutting boards, dish racks, personal items, and any clutter from the countertops. This will create a spacious and uncluttered appearance.

  • Dining Area Presentation: If your kitchen includes a dining area, set the table with simple, coordinated place settings. This adds a touch of elegance to the space.

  • Declutter Cabinets and Shelves: If glass, remove any unnecessary items. Ensure that the insides of cabinets and shelves are tidy and well-organized.

  • Fresh Linens: Hang clean, matching kitchen towels and oven mitts. Consider using a new, fresh kitchen towel for added visual appeal.

  • Make Beds: Make beds neatly with fresh linens and decorative pillows.

  • Clear Surfaces: Remove personal items from bedside tables and dressers.

  • Closet Space: Organize closets, removing excess items to create a sense of space. We can only shoot walk-in closets.

  • Well-Lit: Ensure all light fixtures in the bedroom are working correctly.

BEDROOMS

EXTERIOR

  • Yard Maintenance: Trim the lawn, bushes, and hedges. Remove any weeds.

  • Pool and Hot tubs: Be sure to clean and remove pool toys. Turn on all water features. 

  • Patio/Deck: Clear away any clutter, and arrange outdoor furniture neatly.

  • Extras: Remove garbage cans. Check the grill and fire pit condition. For Twilight Photos, please light it up.

  • Garage: Keep the door closed. We will only shoot the garage if organized and clean.
